Unfortunately, due to the decreasing number of rides I have been getting and the difficulty in finding outside rides I have decided to hang up my riding boots and retire. I am extremely grateful for all the encouragement and support I have received through my website and through emails. I shall keep http://www.ukjockey.com up and running with useful information and regular updates and I will still respond to emails.

In September 2007 I embarked on a BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Business Management at the Royal Agricultural College, in Cirencester. Further information on my course can be found here. I am very pleased to report that I have achieved a first class degree with honours and I am now looking to return to work in horseracing.
